  1. This is a lovely poem. My poetry challenge deals with syllable count forms like Haibun, Tanka, Haiku, and Cinquain. It’s all in the syllable count. You can try this tool https://www.howmanysyllables.com/words/finally (click on the workshop tab then do a cut and paste of your poem to see the syllable count). Yours comes out to 7, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7 & 7.
