Wondering
Opening the doors
Leaping streaming through stained glass
Rainbows of colors
I wonder but have no doubt
Our Lord sees my love for Him

COLLEEN’S WEEKLY #TANKA TUESDAY #POETRY CHALLENGE, NO. 74: “Renew & Fresh,” #SNYONYMSONLY
This is a lovely poem. My poetry challenge deals with syllable count forms like Haibun, Tanka, Haiku, and Cinquain. It’s all in the syllable count. You can try this tool https://www.howmanysyllables.com/words/finally (click on the workshop tab then do a cut and paste of your poem to see the syllable count). Yours comes out to 7, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7 & 7. Read this post: https://colleenchesebro.com/2018/03/06/colleens-weekly-tanka-tuesday-poetry-challenge-no-74-renew-fresh-snyonymsonly/ and click on the links to the different forms to learn how to structure your poetry. For example, a Haiku is 3 lines, with syllables for each line: 5, 7, 5. I hope this helps you. Hugs and have fun learning these new forms. ❤
