Celebrate May with a Poem

My post here is an acceptance of Colleen Chesebro Challenge every Tuesday Tanka Poetry; her challenge is to use the synonyms for the words “Belong” and “Dream”  my choice was “Harmonize” for Belong “Thought and Wish” for Dream.   My choice of format is the Butterfly Cinquain.

Reasons
loving a month
called May — Our Lady’s month —
Cinco de Mayo — flowers bloom —
thoughts of
candy or sweets for Mothers Day —
hummingbirds harmonize
my birthday wish
that too!
