dVerse, Just Because

Just for Pun

dVerse suggested something opposite of how the world perceives, in this case a nursery rhyme.  Bet you can’t guess!

Barry had a great large lamb,
Its fleece was black as coal.
And everywhere that Barry went
The lamb would just say no.

He followed him to work one day
Which was the thing to do;
It made the workers sit and cry
To see the lamb working so.

And so the boss just hired him.
But still he ran away;
Wondering why Barry
disappeared that very day.

A PIOUS BELIEF

THINGS WATERY my contribution; a reblog of my post on January 20.
This idea of “things watery” reminds me of a pious little story presented here below:

I Believe, BECAUSE -

tears

Here is a little story, I am sure many of you, especially those who attended Catholic Schools back in the 40’s – 50’s have heard.

One happy, perfect day in heaven it was decided a contest was in the making for the angels. The rules were they would fly down to earth and find a gift for the Baby Jesus. Whosoever would find the best gift was the winner.

Anxious as they all were they polished their wings and got ready to take off, “Get ready, get set, and GO!” Wings started to flutter; it seems a hurricane entered heaven.

Landing deep within a lush rural forest one such angel found the most beautiful flower, with a luxurious fragrance that seemed to fill the entire forest.

Another angel witnessed the birth of a perfect child with lovely thick locks of hair that seemed to cover its entire head. So the…

This post today was a new challenge, don’t you love them, I do!
Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Saturday Mix, the author who encourages us to use Antithesis in our writing, (opposites) She has provided an excellent example here below:
In literature, writers employ antithesis not only in sentences but also in characters and events.

Charles Dickens’ novel ” A Tale of Two Cities” provides an unforgettable antithesis example:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.”

Below please find my attempt writing using Antithesis (Opposites)

Remember we are visitors, guests if you will, on this good earth, our stay is brief, like a flash. God is our host, an anchor, holder and our keeper.
If you are seeking happiness realize your enemy who it is: the evil one permits all things in the name of freedom, the deceiver known as liberalism. Recognize a friend for what they are, one who forbids, hinders and opposes destructive actions.

You have been enriched a gift, a guide just for you, an angel, friend.

We are endowed with free will to choose the path; our choice is discord or harmony; peace or war, life or death of the soul. Is it any wonder today so many choose a path of pleasure that leads to unhappiness and spiritual suicide.

Catholic Church vs. the Vatican

It’s PERPETUAL — The Church — It’s BIBLICAL

It’s difficult these days to defend the Catholic church when the world looks at the Vatican as the center of Catholicism, yet they are wrong!

Why should we be surprised, doesn’t, the Bible warn of a Great falling away from the Church that Christ found, St. Peter the rock as His first Vicar. Today we see and being foretold of this crisis in II Thessalonians. Speaking in Thessalonians of the Second Coming of Christ, the end times. Chapter 2
By falling away, I mean in numbers, “But yet the Son of man, when He cometh, shall He find, think you, faith on earth?” Luke 18:8

Then again …
… we also have His promise that even the gates of hell will never prevail against His Church. “And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18.

IN OTHER-WORDS PERPETUAL

So what happened? You might be thinking, and the difference between Traditional Catholicism and your mainstream neighborhood Church is Vatican II   —  came about in the 60’s.  Why?
God allowed this to happen because Catholics, (myself included)  and religious for the most part but not all, were becoming worldly.  Therefore, He who always gives us our desire;  Vatican II adapted to the world as you can see clearly for yourself by the —example of the goings on within the Vatican and trickling down throughout the world.

DECADENCE!
Its called infiltration by Modernists, Freemasons and or Illuminati. None of which hold to the Catholic Faith.  Beware of the New World Order.—

Stay firm to the teachings you have learned from the beginning we hear in IIThessalonians

Ah! Another Challenge

If a Man Says …

The challenge of the word “Dalliance” is a topic under discussion because “dalliance” currently suggested to be the word of the day. I love it when the word is something I have to look up because it humbles me and I learn by researching. In short, it is to dilly-dally I love that term “dilly-dally” it reminds me of this funny phrase seen below.

Dalliance

On another note:

Don’t, however, be dalliance with the salvation of your soul, eternity is forever and this life is short compared to forever.  Remember — Just begin with a prayer!

“Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is.” Mark 13;33

FORGIVENESS is a choice

ForgivingConnects (One word) inspired this little post here, enjoy the read about forgiveness.    If it is God you need forgiveness from remember there isn’t any sin greater than the MERCY OF GOD.

***********

Consider the prayer known as “The Lord’s Prayer” recorded in the Book of Matthew and the Book of Luke, the Bible. The Bible is the word of God.
About the subject of FORGIVENESS!

“Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Meaning —> For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will forgive you your transgressions. But if you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your offenses. (frightening to think about)

It is therefore when you consider the consequences of not forgiving; easier to forgive, however forgetting takes longer, but with a prayer that to will come sooner than you think. Just relax and let it happen.

Spiritual Darkness

The Catholic religion has a term called Spiritual Darkness.  NOT depression, in truth, it makes your Faith stronger. The best example I can think of when a mother is teaching her child how to walk she holds the child up for a while, then comes the time she lets go, to guide and strengthen showing how strong he/she is. The mother is there just in case he or she falls.

This is why we experience this feeling of abandonment at times.

My post here is an acceptance of Colleen Chesebro Challenge Tanka Poetry; her challenge is to use the synonyms for the words “Dry and Wet” —

Oh my thirsty soul
petitions grace from above
Spiritual test
sprinkle me end this rupture
pray I flee this harsh desert

Why I love TODAY!

Thank you, God, for this glorious morning in June, I woke up today to another day, with so much to thank you for.  Feeling so happy I sat down and wrote a poem to express my feelings just now about Mondays.

Drowsy on Mondays
Yeah — I survived the weekend
Seven days ahead
Scheming reciting with joy
I’ll do all that tomorrow

BOUQUET of devotions — Tradition

Spiritual Bouquet a Traditional Catholic Practice

A card the giver will offer to a special loved one. In the form of a greeting card, the giver will promise to pray devotional prayers, such as one rosary just for the intention of the recipient; or two or three, etc. rosaries. The idea is that you will pray for what you write down.    BouquetOf

The recipient will appreciate the card if hand-made as will the giver having the opportunity of doing so.

When a child in Catholic school, I remember enjoying creating these unique greeting cards. Today you will find many elements for enhancing hand-made greeting cards. My guess is you already have the makings of a greeting card waiting. Remember the essential ingredient is your promise to pray.

Today is Fathers’ Day this idea of a Spiritual Bouquet would be an excellent gift for any father to receive from his child be it the child is 3 or 33 or whatever.

My apology to Carrot Ranch since this post is not fiction and over 99 words, but thank you so much for the inspiration of the prompt BOUQUET.

Synonym not Cinnamon

A long time ago when I was a young mother raising my children, we watched Romper Room, which is my inspiration today with this challenge of using synonyms instead of the actual word.
The five words are as follows: shoe, sweep, wash, sky and duck. Looking at their synonyms was educational and surprising here are the ones I chose to use: LOAFER for shoe, READY for sweep, RUSH for wash, EMPYREAN for sky, and finally SIDESTEP for duck. I know I was surprised myself, but you can quickly verify my correctness by checking the Thesaurus.
Getting back to the inspiration of  Romper Room and it’s Doo Bee song I wrought this little jingle with the words of the challenge and my watercolor painting.       BBC

Don’t Bee a LOAFER
Do Bee READY
Don’t Bee in a RUSH
Do Bee EMPYREAN
Don’t try to SIDESTEP truth

Public Control through Holographic Proj.

Prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “reservation.”

My stream of conscience and what it means to me is what I am concerned about and should I say something about it and I will;  therefore I write about my reservation.
Today we listen here and there about aliens, meaning beings from other planets. “They are here,” as in the alien news.

THINK ABOUT IT!
My hesitation and reluctance concerning this subject are merely put this way.
If you believe that Jesus Christ is God and He became incarnate through the Blessed Mother (All generations will call her Blessed, Luke 1:48).  If you believe also,
the purpose of His coming was to redeem all humanity, because He loves us that much after the fall.  (Adam & Eve first bestowed with an immortal soul.) You too would have reservation about believing in aliens from other planets. Why? Because that would mean that God would have to come again on those planets to be crucified all over again and again, Mary His mother would have to reincarnated each time.

Unless of course, you believe that those aliens are so very good and perfect they never had their fall as we have here on earth. If that is the case, we have nothing to fear since if they are that Christ-like through His eyes, they are perfect, right, good and pure.

Consider HOLOGRAMS and read the link below bolded.

If you are interested in this read so far and are in the know about the New World Order it is essential to take a look at this link provided:

P.S.  If you are an unbeliever, atheist it would take more faith to believe in all this life, aliens etc. all over the universe than to believe in intelligent design as in God.

Good Versus Evil— Nefarious Crushed

A picture such as the one here below says it better than words.

Speaking of words the word prompt today happens to be “Nefarious” from here; if you care to join in on the fun.  And/or also here for the word “Debonair.” Two fellow bloggers initiating word prompts.

That NEFARIOUS Evil one lays beneath the feet of Michael the Archangel who is shown to be one of many, a DEBONAIR Angel of Good.

Evil will have its day, for sure, but we all know the end of the story.
