dVerse, Just Because

Just for Pun

dVerse suggested something opposite of how the world perceives, in this case a nursery rhyme.  Bet you can’t guess!

Barry had a great large lamb,
Its fleece was black as coal.
And everywhere that Barry went
The lamb would just say no.

He followed him to work one day
Which was the thing to do;
It made the workers sit and cry
To see the lamb working so.

And so the boss just hired him.
But still he ran away;
Wondering why Barry
disappeared that very day.

A PIOUS BELIEF

THINGS WATERY my contribution; a reblog of my post on January 20.
This idea of “things watery” reminds me of a pious little story presented here below:

Sharing With Others -

tears

Here is a little story, I am sure many of you, especially those who attended Catholic Schools back in the 40’s – 50’s have heard.

One happy, perfect day in heaven it was decided a contest was in the making for the angels. The rules were they would fly down to earth and find a gift for the Baby Jesus. Whosoever would find the best gift was the winner.

Anxious as they all were they polished their wings and got ready to take off, “Get ready, get set, and GO!” Wings started to flutter; it seems a hurricane entered heaven.

Landing deep within a lush rural forest one such angel found the most beautiful flower, with a luxurious fragrance that seemed to fill the entire forest.

Another angel witnessed the birth of a perfect child with lovely thick locks of hair that seemed to cover its entire head. So the…

Please Join In OPPOSITES ATTRACT

This post today was a new challenge, don’t you love them, I do!
Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Saturday Mix, the author who encourages us to use Antithesis in our writing, (opposites) She has provided an excellent example here below:
In literature, writers employ antithesis not only in sentences but also in characters and events.

Charles Dickens’ novel ” A Tale of Two Cities” provides an unforgettable antithesis example:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.”

Below please find my attempt writing using Antithesis (Opposites)

Remember we are visitors, guests if you will, on this good earth, our stay is brief, like a flash. God is our host, an anchor, holder and our keeper.
If you are seeking happiness realize your enemy who it is: the evil one permits all things in the name of freedom, the deceiver known as liberalism. Recognize a friend for what they are, one who forbids, hinders and opposes destructive actions.

You have been enriched a gift, a guide just for you, an angel, friend.

We are endowed with free will to choose the path; our choice is discord or harmony; peace or war, life or death of the soul. Is it any wonder today so many choose a path of pleasure that leads to unhappiness and spiritual suicide.

Turn back!

Catholic Church vs. the Vatican

It’s PERPETUAL — The Church — It’s BIBLICAL

It’s difficult these days to defend the Catholic church when the world looks at the Vatican as the center of Catholicism, yet they are wrong!

Why should we be surprised, doesn’t, the Bible warn of a Great falling away from the Church that Christ found, St. Peter the rock as His first Vicar. Today we see and being foretold of this crisis in II Thessalonians. Speaking in Thessalonians of the Second Coming of Christ, the end times. Chapter 2
By falling away, I mean in numbers, “But yet the Son of man, when He cometh, shall He find, think you, faith on earth?” Luke 18:8

Then again …
… we also have His promise that even the gates of hell will never prevail against His Church. “And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18.

IN OTHER-WORDS PERPETUAL

So what happened? You might be thinking, and the difference between Traditional Catholicism and your mainstream neighborhood Church is Vatican II   —  came about in the 60’s.  Why?
God allowed this to happen because Catholics, (myself included)  and religious for the most part but not all, were becoming worldly.  Therefore, He who always gives us our desire;  Vatican II adapted to the world as you can see clearly for yourself by the —example of the goings on within the Vatican and trickling down throughout the world.

DECADENCE!
Its called infiltration by Modernists, Freemasons and or Illuminati. None of which hold to the Catholic Faith.  Beware of the New World Order.—

Stay firm to the teachings you have learned from the beginning we hear in IIThessalonians
