BOUQUET of devotions — Tradition

Spiritual Bouquet a Traditional Catholic Practice

A card the giver will offer to a special loved one. In the form of a greeting card, the giver will promise to pray devotional prayers, such as one rosary just for the intention of the recipient; or two or three, etc. rosaries. The idea is that you will pray for what you write down.    BouquetOf

The recipient will appreciate the card if hand-made as will the giver having the opportunity of doing so.

When a child in Catholic school, I remember enjoying creating these unique greeting cards. Today you will find many elements for enhancing hand-made greeting cards. My guess is you already have the makings of a greeting card waiting. Remember the essential ingredient is your promise to pray.

Today is Fathers’ Day this idea of a Spiritual Bouquet would be an excellent gift for any father to receive from his child be it the child is 3 or 33 or whatever.

My apology to Carrot Ranch since this post is not fiction and over 99 words, but thank you so much for the inspiration of the prompt BOUQUET.
