Inspired by the word prompt of The Daily Spur, and Open Night of dVerse.
PURIFICATION —Just because you don’t believe, doesn’t mean it isn’t so! God does exist, and we will all stand before Him. Never gamble with eternity, it is forever!
Consider your life, is your conscience purified, satisfied that when you stand before the merciful judge, all is right. God gives us time to do His Will.
Confession is good for the soul, seek out a Traditional priest and talk to him. You don’t believe in confessing to another, but then why go to a therapist, counselor, or a best friend to confess your guilt. They can listen but have no power to wash your soul. Only a duly ordained priest can do that in the name of Jesus. “Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.” [John 20:23]
It is a great feeling to be disinfected, purged from guilt, free and filled with His grace; absolution is there for the taking. Confession is an excellent gift from God, and it is FREE. No therapist fees. Try it you will love it! Purification!
Good point about the therapist and counselor.

Coming late to OLN trail this week, purification does require a power higher than oneself. Wishing you every blessing in your faith and walk. Thank you for sharing what you clearly hold so dear.
