An Etheree Poem, my first composed. Waiting to see who wins, the LEFT or the RIGHT.
Why
Are there
What we call
The Globalist?
Distant without sound
Logic — Frozen freedom
Where there was the trustworthy
Now a future lukewarm to truth
Producing emotionless robots
Dead to all contemplative ideals!

Well, to be fair I looked up the definition of a “Globalist.” Here is the supposed definition: “a person who advocates the interpretation or planning of economic and foreign policy in relation to events and developments throughout the world.” But, the urban dictionary gives us another view: “A globalist is someone who believes that ultimately all borders and nations should be dissolved, resulting in one single world government. The motivations behind this ideology can be categorized into political and economic motivations.” I believe that we must be a country that accepts all peoples, no matter their race, creed, or religion as our Constitution sets forth. Trump defines a globalist with some Hitler-like language: https://qz.com/1433675/how-trump-defines-globalist-and-nationalist/. Terms like globalist and nationalist are code words now for things that do not represent the truth. ❤

I see so much of people changing definitions of words to suit their way of thinking, including in the Churches. The Truth will always win out in the end, we just have to wait.
Like you I believe all peoples of race, creed are welcome as long as they are law abiding.

The distortion of the truth is so troubling. All of our norms are being tested. All we can do is pray and hope that our universal energy will replenish the good in the collective. ❤

I am late to get around reading the haibuns MF, but I really like what you’ve written! With regard to a global focus, it is far better to find a universal balance, than to embrace isolationism. That breeds mistrust and war. With regard to truth… we are to a point that truth is whatever we can make someone believe. Sad and also extremely dangerous.

Throughout history, America has always been the nation that has shown charity toward other nations when help was needed from various tragedies. (The reason why we are blessed)
There are times when isolationism is needed in the sense we do not want to make the same mistakes other countries have made from their government’s ways. A universal balance is very important I agree but not to the point where we give up our sovereignty. This is the reason why many want to come to America, the land blessed, but for how long, I wonder.
