America the Eagle

dVerse

“And there were given to the woman two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the desert unto her place, where she is nourished for a time and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” (Apocalypse 12:14) This prophecy fits the Church, which brings forth Christ into the world. The age we are living in today is again as predicted in — II Thessalonians 2:3 as the great falling away. Since the mid 60’s the Catholic Church has been dumbed down. The Vatican at present has an Anti-Christ . Yet, the Church is flourishing in small pockets worldwide, but especially here in America, the Eagle!
America like Christ appears dead, will rise again!
To continue to nourish the Church while waiting His Second Coming.

After many years of seeking, praying and searching I finally found my way home in the Traditional Catholic Church, the difference is night and day.

U.S. the Eagle
Eagles strongest birds of prey
America tough

  1. Congrats on your renewal of faith. It certainly could be tested during this pandemic and four years of Trumpism. I like your positive outlook for America.

  2. To be very honest, I don’t quite know how to respond to “The Vatican at present has an Anti-Christ”
I was raised Catholic; went to a Lutheran college; and am now a practicing Episcopalian. I have always questioned some doctrines in the Catholic Church. As a young child, I went to Catholic grade school from 3rd through 7th grade. When I was a sophomore in college, my mother called me as she did then, weekly. She told me they had just gotten a new bed with a new spring and mattress delivered and the wierdest thing had happened. The people who took the old bed away, to replace it with the new one, came to her and said “Do you want this rosary?” She asked them where they found it. It was tied, under the bed, to the springs/frame on the left side of the bed. My father’s side. She asked me…have any idea how it got there? My memory was suddenly flooded with how it got there. As a third grader, learning my catechism, I learned that people who didn’t believe in God would go to hell. My father did not belong to any religion. He drove my mom and I to church every Sunday and waited in the car reading the paper. I was so afraid he was going to go to hell, that I sneaked into their bedroom and tied the rosary under the bed, on his side of the bed, hoping God would save him. Somehow, that kind of power within a religion seems to me to be not very good. Antithetical to the idea of Love thy neighbor etc. Anyway….just sharing. Your post reminded me of that experience which I haven’t thought of in years. I am now in my 7th decade of life! For many years I’ve thought the pope has too much power; the males have too much power in the Catholic church. But I don’t think I would write that the pope is an Anti Christ. I’m not quite sure what that means? To me it means ALL bad. I’m not certain I think anyone is really ALL bad.
But….that’s the mark of good writing in many regards. A reader connects with it and has a personal response to it. The reader doesn’t just move on to the next poem. They somehow connect to the writing. You’ve sure done that for me…hence this epistle (long) response!

    1. Lillian, to reply with an Oh! Oh! I am 80 years old and attended Catholic school my entire life!
I feel positive your prayers for your father pleased God, especially your heart so innocent in wanting the best for his eternity.
It is written the Church will become as it started (smaller) and it has been infiltrated. There is much to say about that subject, and I thought most people know the differences between Vatican II council 1965 or thereabout. Most people like the changes but not all the people!

Consider the fact that in 1570, the pope wrote a papal bull known as Quo Primum, which explicitly stated that no one, regardless of their rank, not even a pope, could substantially rewrite the Mass. The question is, why did the Vatican change the Mass to only a Protestant service in 1969?
Another question is why then the Mass was altered?
For an answer to the question, obtain a copy of the Alta Vendita a document that describes the plans of Freemasons to infiltrate and subvert the Catholic Church.
In a nutshell, Vatican goes against Divine Law, as in the Ten Commandments, (The worship of images) changes from 1965 with the most recent this little story below: –>”On October 4, Pope Francis attended an act of idolatrous worship of the pagan goddess Pachamama. He allowed this worship to take place in the Vatican Gardens, thus desecrating the vicinity of the martyrs’ graves and the Church of the Apostle Peter. He participated in this act of idolatrous worship by blessing a wooden image of Pachamama. On October 7, the idol of Pachamama was placed in front of the main altar at St. Peter’s and then carried in procession to the Synod Hall. Pope Francis said prayers in a ceremony involving this image and then joined in this procession. When wooden images of this pagan deity were removed from the Church of Santa Maria in Traspontina, where they had been sacrilegiously placed, and thrown into the Tiber by Catholics outraged by this profanation of the Church, Pope Francis, on October 25, apologized for their removal and another wooden image of Pachamama was returned to the Church. Thus, a new profanation was initiated. On October 27, in the closing Mass for the synod, he accepted a bowl used in the idolatrous worship of Pachamama and placed it on the altar.”

I could say so much more and this is strange because I have been thinking about how the Eagle in the Bible represents America and the next thing I read is this prompt.

    1. Sorry, I know that people care, I meant most people don’t care about the changes in the Catholic church. God called it a ROCK, since it will never change. And it hasn’t it just became smaller. Luke 18;8 “But yet the Son of man, when He cometh, shall He find, think you, faith on earth?”

    1. It surprises me when someone does agree the way things are today, and I don’t expect to change anyone, since I know that I can’t. The very best I can hope for is to plant a little seed.
Thank you for your patience with me along with your kindness.
