It was last year that Sue shared the details of her illness. Terminal stage 4 cancer of lungs.

The WordPress community came together to provide moral support to each other to prepare themselves for this event.

Sue, however, took this illness bravely and kept on writing as long as she could. She was posting her daily haiku as recently as two days ago. I was so impressed by her courage and strength in accepting the inevitable and the fact that she kept her sense of humor till the very end. You can sense the way she didn’t let this disease beat her by her “The small dog” post which she penned in the voice of her dog Ani.

Rest In Peace, my friend.

We will all miss you.
