dVerse, I haven’t visited dVerse for a while; strolling over to see what they are doing, I almost slipped on the ice. An action that yes, is complete in a minute. Falling on ice that is. Poetry in action! What am I talking about go and see, visit dVerse and join in?
Following their instructions, I came up with what they call “The Minute Poem.”
I wish I had a better last line, if you think of one put it into the comments below. Remember it has to rhyme with the word “Lamp.”
Slippery When Old
Oh no no, it's snowing! Amen Cold wind again Pray I don't fall I'll have to crawl Winter season is way too long Your walking wrong Stay off that ice I'll say it twice Dreaming now of a day in May Ice go away Or a sun lamp Equal to camp P.S. Don't worry about me, I always say a pray before I walk on ice and have my cleats on my boots. Cleats won't help me if I fall from grace but the prayer will help!
Lovely minute Myrna. Thanks for dropping by to read mine
Much love…

You could try “but on I tramp”, although I love it as is.
