Life first, we begin; begin the climb! Upward sometimes; we fall as Christ fell three times as He rose to His destination the Cross. We also have a destination, but first, we must climb those worn steps covered with roses with thorns, sad times, and tearful times. He gives us an example; He is the only person born to die, as we are born to live and live again forever if we follow Him.
Number 1. What fictional family would you like to be part of? (think TV shows, cartoon or books or some fictional family that you admire)
I loved the family that God placed me into, so this question is difficult to answer since I never thought about it. Let’s see! Thinking … thinking, hmmm! Perhaps and I quote “The Addams Family” had more of an edge, and its humor was a bit darker. They were fashionably weird but devoted to having a safe and happy home. The show also gave us some of TV’s most odd but memorable characters in Lurch, Cousin Itt and Uncle Fester.
I wonder what my name would have been? Thanks for giving me something different to think about.
Which band or artist would you like to play at your funeral or memorial service? (the artist can have passed on too)
If we don’t all get blown up with a nuclear bomb and I am lucky enough to have a funeral, it will hopefully be a Traditional Catholic one, with sacred music.
Preference. Popcorn, M&Ms or other. Choose something you love snacking on.
At this moment in time, I am on a kick for chocolate-covered raisins; who knows what it will be tomorrow.
If you could be any supernatural (fantasy) character, what would you be? (Think Elves, fairies, dragons or whatever)
Perhaps I would say: Flutterina who is a member of the Great Rebellion and is aided by powerful butterfly wings.
Good advice with this quote: “Right is right even if no one is doing it; wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it.” -St Augustine.
This one is what I call a real challenge if ever there was one!
At least for me, it challenged my brain, what an exercise!
Lucky Dip – Saturday Mix, 26 March 2022, has reached into the… mystery bag and pulled out a Palindrome!
What is a mirror, a reflection, RIGHT! That is what a Palindrome IS! If interested please go to this link for details.
My attempt is sort of a poem that mirrors, in other words forward and backward it means the same thing. When I say attempt, I mean it! Also don’t forget weeklyprompt.com the prompt is Mother the theme of my write below.
Love to care
For children; want mother.

Mother and wife she is.

Mother want children for
Care — to Love!
God’s Mercy is infinite as our Mercy for our enemies should be, but are they? That is the question!
Showing Mercy to those who injured us is the greatest revenge; I do not know who said it, but it is true. Also, we have this —> “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” ~Jesus Christ
Yet we want to forget there IS, like it or not, Divine Justice from God.
Beyond our last breath, we are taken to His Seat of Justice!
Yet, today we might face His Divine Justice here on earth, a chastisement foretold during the Great Apostasy from His Church. 2Thessalonians 2-3; One such commentary explained in the Haydock Bible as meaning; “According to a third and common exposition, by this revolt or apostasy, others understand a great falling off of great numbers from the Catholic Church and faith, in those nations where it was professed before; not but that, as St. Augustine expressly takes notice, the Church will remain always visible, and Catholic in its belief, till the end of the world. Could it be that Vatican 11 beyond 1960, when the Catholic Church adapted to the world, was this event? Visible, yes, but smaller as it began at its founding by Christ.
This is when everything started to change, (1960’s) the world, little by little lost all sense of sin; continues today with what was white is now black and what was BLACK IS NOW WHITE.
May God have Mercy on us during these very dark days.
It is beautiful to have a commentary from the Early Fathers of the Church.
I am enjoying my time reading it!
Also, lately perhaps because of the situations with the world, looking at my religious pictures from the internet and books, I never noticed before. Still, recently I noticed that the images of Jesus and Mary are so serious and should be. Yet I desired to see at least the Mother of God smile at me; I searched and searched but could not find one. Some I found were almost a smile when she is pictured holding her Divine Son, Jesus.
I haven’t touched my watercolor paints in years, but I decided to paint a picture of her smiling at me, as you guessed. My paints were all dried up, and I had to soak them in water, find my brushes & paper, and find a frame; I prayed for help because of old shaky hands belonging to me! This project kept me out of trouble last week since I could think of nothing else.
Even with God’s help, I discovered this was the best I could do, but at least she is smiling at me!
She hangs near the entrance into my humble home; for all who enter, she smiles at them too!
I pity those who ignore her, for she magnifies her Son; they miss so much, perhaps in time. Luke 1-46 “And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord.”
Christ be with me; Christ be before me; Christ be after me; Christ within me; Christ beneath me; Christ above me; Christ at my right hand; Christ at my left hand; Christ in the fort; Christ in the chariot; Christ in the ship; Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me; Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks to me; Christ in every eye that sees me; Christ in every ear that hears ME.
At first, I thought it was only the dog making noise, but when I went to investigate, I saw that it was a raccoon who had come in from my doggy door. AIYEEEE! I screamed so loud the unwanted animal turned, and blasted his furry body the same staggering, jaw-dropping way he came into our warm and cozy home. Tomorrow, I will have to take care of that doggy door. The End
Not today — instead Do it tomorrow not now Way too tired; later
