Fandango Flashback, FPQ

C.S. Lewis answers #FPQ Question

Prompts are always fun and inspiring, a challenge for sure, they make you think!

Two, not one of Fandango famous prompts are below:

Fandango’s flashback is always interesting and this one I posted a while ago; hopefully will make you smile if you read it to the end, that is! Here is the link —> Click

Now to his, Fandango Provocative Question from this week his blog; he asks! “Do you think, given everything that is going on in the world, that children born these days will have a worse or better life than their parents? Why do you feel that way?” I will attempt to answer this time through the words of C.S. Lewis and his famous quotes. Read together they result in good advice for all generations!

“Human history is the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy.”—C.S. Lewis … “And out of that hopeless attempt has come nearly all that we call human history—money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery—the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy.”― C.S. Lewis

“If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair.” ― C.S. Lewis … (because) “God can’t give us peace and happiness apart from Himself because there is no such thing.” ― C.S. Lewis
