Sharing My World — SYW

SYW Share Your World and the questions are below; with my answers.  Nice to know that someone wants to know what I think.  I love it!

  1. Can we ever experience anything objectively? Why or why not? (Now for the people who may not understand that idea, this is what objective means (definition wise): Something that is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions).

If no, there is no anything as Truth or Facts, just whatever pleases man, like we have today.

  1. Do humans have a soul? Do animals have a soul?

Humans have an immortal soul that will live forever either in Heaven or Hell at the end of time; Animals have a mortal soul that dies when they die. However, I like to believe that nothing on earth is more significant than what is in Heaven, therefore perhaps animals are in Heaven, hopefully for those who make it to Heaven God will allow our pets to be there, wishful thinking on my part.

  1. Why are people told to respect the dead? (example: “Don’t speak ill of the dead”)

Because God has already judged them.

  1. Without using the names of specific people, discuss “the ideal” President or other world leader.  Saying ‘anyone who is the exact opposite of a certain orange skinned creature’ is cheating. While (to me) that’s a true statement, there’s more depth to the question than to reduce it to one sentence.

An ideal leader, in my opinion, is anyone who keeps or at least TRIES to keep the ten Commandments, since if that should ever happen, we will be blessed by God and have peace throughout the entire world. Not just talk about it but encourage it. We don’t live in a perfect world, and my ideal is a dream, so I will continue to vote for the lesser of the two evils.

Sunday Whirl — Tradition— My Read

Today looking at the words of the day, including Fandango’s word “Gap,” also Wordle at the Sunday Whirl prompts. The words just fell into place; advice, not from me, input from that unwritten law known as TRADITION.
In today world of New Age Magic, it takes courage to talk about the existence of an immortal soul. The struggle exists between the world, flesh, and the devil! We hear the stories; yes, life can be quite messy without Him, who died for us. Close that gap today, develop a sacred mantra, a prayer, we are all vulnerable, swallow your pride and lean toward the Almighty, the only way.

Wordle words underlined above.

Eternity

Just too Hot to Handle!

Too long for some!

Living hour by hour; day by day; year by year in grave sin heavy upon your soul would be the most horrible and one would be in jeopardy of losing their immortal soul forever.
Catholic belief is that one can not judge the condition of another’s soul because there are too many particulars involved; only God knows the opportunities He gave you to understand the Truths of His teachings.

Don’t jeopardize your eternity for this world; short is time; long is an eternity.

How to be Happy and Healthy!

Our immortal souls’ hunger for Truth and reject the Gaffes of life. Choosing the improprieties of life lead to frustrations, stress and heart attacks which result with poor health, of course. Our soul includes our intellect and will, choose peace of soul, face the truth. Be Happy, don’t worry! Change the channel!

Christians — Know this TRUTH

TRUTH, some say there isn’t any! I beg to differ with them concerning our immortal souls. “Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

“He to whom the Eternal Word speaks is free from theorizing.” (The Imitation of Christ — Chapter on The Doctrine of Truth)

How God judges every one of us, as they say, is way, way beyond my pay grade, and I would never attempt to go there. In fact, that is against my Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Faith to do so. “Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God.” 1 Corinthians 4:5

I will say this in defense of the Catholic religion, the Bible mentions the Catholic Faith, not by the use of the word “Catholic” but somewhat indirectly. The secret is Mary, His mother.
“Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.” Luke 1;48
God did not hand us a book but established a Church, and this Church put together the writings of His teachings. Within those writings, it is said, that those who call her Blessed are His.
Jesus loves The Masterpiece of all His creation, His mother. The Blessed
Mother.  Her role was to bring God incarnate.  She had to be special.

Astral Projection ORIGIN

If one does research on the ORIGIN of the word “Astral” they might come up with something like this: “Theosophy noting a supersensible substance pervading all space and forming the substance of a second body (astral body) belonging to each individual. It accompanies the individual through life, can leave the human body at will, and survives the individual after death.”

What a perfect word “astral” used today which pertains to the stars and universe.

To continue:

When God created the first man, He endowed us with an immortal soul. The following is my abridgment from an approved Catholic book titled: My Way of Life.
“Since then each living human has that vital principle, its soul, by which it is alive; these souls are not composite things to be taken apart; they are not bodies but the principles by which bodies come alive.
A soul cannot be taken apart, as no soul can, for it has no parts; but neither can it be destroyed by destroying the body of a man. The death of the body is not the end of the soul, for the soul has its own independence, its own actions transcending the physical and corporal, it has its own life which it gives to the body but which is not surrendered with the death of the body. The soul of man can be separated from the body.
The soul of a man once brought into existence is as immortal as the angels; the soul of every man who has been born into the world lives forever.”
Where does it live, that is up to YOU.
We recently celebrated Ash Wednesday, and in my youth on Ash Wednesday, the children would sing this little jingle;  ♪ ♫ ashes to ashes, dust to dust if God doesn’t take you the devil must.   ♫  ♫
