Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge, Word of the Day Challenge

Obey your Conscience not your Friends

Today’s prompt: Write a piece of prose or poetry that ends with in the end, we were just a moment.

Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge: Tuesday, September 8, 2020

Another interesting prompt with the introduction of a new word, at least in My vocabulary of words is: Honeyfuggle

At first, back in the day, living in Chicago, where everyone was a Democrat, and I thought it was good. It was right back in the 40s-50s and earlier still before my time. As time went on, I witnessed a departure from everything sacred to me. Yet, they still were able to honeyfuggle me! With the fake media, the people of lies. Today, my prayer is not that you who are still deceived will find the Truth, but that the Truth will find you. Now looking back to my life in Chicago, I realize! In the end, we were just a moment!

Cry Baby NONSENSE, Enough!

I have had ENOUGH of this social nonsense.
Enough of this talk; Denounce A Wall here but praise A Wall there as in Seattle’s Chop or whatever it is today.

Oppose a rally, as not safe yet, defend a protest safe as can be.

Uses Liberty to destroy Liberty.

The killing of free speech; by the squishing conservative address.
What a bunch of cry babies can’t stand to hear the other side, or is it they don’t want people to wake up and think.

The MANIA today is the word RACIST; in other words, color. I notice those who use that term are the real racist, that is their excuse for their own mistakes of life-styles, and now consequences they suffer for their own bad choices. Poor me! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, time to get your act together, stop looking for an excuse to do wrong.

Let’s Follow the Left advice

These days we DANCE in CIRCLES! Something new added every hour depending on where you live.  One question;  should I or not wear a mask?

All I want to do is the correct thing.  I hate the mask but the LEFT want us to wear it

so

we obey!

TRUTH the Newest Hate Crime

I thought I would try and put my creative juices to work with the help of dVerse.  The theme there today is “Impermanence.”

I heard a sermon the other day
Nothing forever — everything fads away
Uncertainty, hate, they feed today!
The media wittingly know of hatred’s prey
Uncertainty is certainly within our life
Therefore better to avoid any strife
I heard a sermon the other day

Stop the World

I want to get off!

What a life we live; how convenient! Today you and I or anyone, how lucky can we be today to be alive in these silly times. So featherbrained, it is comical and sad at the same time.

Is it any wonder our children don’t know if they are boys or girls nor do their parents.

Our need for amusement no longer means getting dressed, finding a ride that takes us to the neighborhood circus that arrived to entertain us.

Our need to laugh is at our fingertips, so colorful we can taste it.

Just grab your favorite chair, get comfy in your P.J.s turn on your means of media, and get your popcorn, sit down, being careful not to wet your pants through laughter.

This entire impeachment bazaar is like closing your eyes, and ears and imagine A cow is screaming across the arroyo.

Words that FIT!

G.K. Chesterton Quote fits perfectly with the word of the day which is … ta-da … YESTERDAY!

“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.”

Today is purely INSANITY! Fight for Truth and Morals as was YESTERDAY!

Hypocrisy the lIBERAL; a Limerick poem

My Limerick for today … Political, yes;  Comical yes;  Truthful, I think so!

************

Rules to remember besides being silly are, it’s five lines long
The first two lines rhyme with each other and with the fifth line
The third and fourth lines also rhyme
Limericks are also supposed to have a certain rhythm.

There once was a man who sought a position
He studied to do well at his audition
Do you believe in God? No, was his reply
You are just the type; helpful smart sort of guy
Thank God for that was his whispered petition
