Weekly Prompt

A Prompt, TreeSquare and quote bending together

This weekend I noticed on the weekly prompts the word reminded me of a tree right here round the corner from my house. Of course I grabbed my camera to capture a picture of it for #TreeSquare. Why? The tree bends and that was the word for weekly promtps weekend.

I did have a problem getting this image squared off, had to do a little hacking on the top, but take a look at the tree bending.

“The little reed, bending to the force of the wind, soon stood upright again when the storm had passed over”. Adsop

The HAPPINESS POST

Have you ever had an angel encounter; I have! But SURPRISE, that is not what this blog post is about.

It is about being HAPPY; I am a very happy old lady, going downhill and happy about that, thinking this may be my last Christmas. (or maybe not) lived a happy childhood, a happy marriage, and I know why I was born in the first place. Made a lot of mistakes, more than I can count — told God I was sorry. That was a peaceful, happy feeling!

The best part of this blog is below, please continue to read.

A few days ago, I found this video about an angel story, it’s not very long, under 10 minutes, but the really happy part is the story, yes—but reading the comments. Since watching this video, I have gone back just to finish reading the comments because they wrought so much happiness within my soul.
Not only will you feel beyond happy just knowing, but you will also thrive in hope too!

The Mystery of LIFE

Today, Monday, October 5, Eugi’s Weekly offers us an interesting PROMPT, designed to inspire! The word MYSTICAL, a creative writing is in order. Mine below is a form of poetry known as Haibun with Haiku. Click here to join

Mystical

“Time,” time is mystical in the sense of its meaning. What is TIME?
Past, Present, and Future three in one a trinity!
The past FINISHED
The present NOW
The future TO COME
Reminds me of another Trinty, Father, the Creator of all; past!
Son, the Redeemer of all, presently now on earth we know, love, and serve Him while the Holy Ghost guides us to Heaven’s future home. Indeed, this is mystical and a mystery of our Faith.

Our time now look, seek
Mystery of Truth to find
Mystical glaring

As Night meets Day, the Battle!

At midnight, we begin a new day, although dark as night always is.
Time continues to tick-tock, minutes pass, we sleep. Tossing and turning, we await Twilight— the battle approaches, Twilight — the time that gets in the way of darkness. At last! Sunrise to announce the winner, Dawn!
All this unknown — we sleep! We dream while angels watch!

Peep, peep, sing, sing a little bird, have woken our sleepy eyes, and night has met a new day. Our sleepytime over when it is over said and done it was a time, and there was never enough of it. A new day what will it bring? I wonder!

Happiness is that first cup of coffee!

A Stream, a Birthday, A Forever

Read a challenge today; although I feel “despondent” the prompt word, my first notion was to pass. Feeling sort of blue, because it is someone’s birthday, Aug.13th!  A few hours later I read on dVerse a challenge and thought hmmm!  I closed my eyes, with my fingers as my voice I spoke hidden words.

August 13th

Today, so long ago my husband was born, eighty-one years!
I didn’t know him at that time, I wasn’t even here, there or anywhere.
His life came and went, gone now, but lives somewhere else I know.
Someday I will follow him, as I did when he came to be. I followed him then, and I will follow him again in eternity.

A Jibberjabber post about doubt

I DOUBT

I doubt that I could fly, although in my dreams I can.
I doubt I will live to be 100 — at least I hope I don’t!
I doubt I will ever win a poetry contest, but I love writing them!

Thinking about what I know for sure, hmmm!
Time continues to march on with or without me,
and the sun will rise each day … or will it?scratch

Before God created — only obsidian
Although God needed nothing and so nothing was
The Three perfectly happy; their alpine, their all.
Rich soil, snow angels totally they created!
All-knowing, God, absolutely spoke: “I predict!”
A jaded panther appears, red flag certainly!
Before God created — only obsidian
